Challenge - A word most of the youths are familiar with. But how do we perceive it?
Mountain climbing, skydiving and rock climbing are few of a man's wildest fantasy and also a "Challenge". Salman Nasser has experienced all of it and more! Speaker 3

Maleeha Fatima

Speaker 3

In a reality where most of us are trapped by dogma, living with the results of other people's thinking we often let the noise of others drown out our own inner voice. Maleeha Fathima, who was seen as the poster of societal expectations talks of how she deviated from her set path towards her true calling, charity. The path was painfully carved by chipping away at the answers decided for her, self-acceptance and isolating her own voice.

Speaker 4

Arvind Rampal

Speaker 4

Our journey to break inhibitions starts when we channel our negative energy to attain a positive outcome. Arvind Rampal, through his talk, hopes to highlight the power of replacing self-destructive thoughts with positive ones by tapping the power of the law of attraction. It theorizes that whatever can be imagined and held in the mind's eye is achievable if you take action on a plan to get to where you want to be.

About TED

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics from science to business to global issues in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

About TEDx

The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED like experiences. At TEDx events, a screening of TED Talks videos or a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos sparks deep conversation and connections at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
